Designer: Prabal Gurung
Like: Last season I fell madly in love with Prabal Gurung's wildly patterned dresses with Bondage elements and the colour gradients on his coats and trousers. For Autumn/Winter 12/13 Gurung is at his best colour game again presenting details changing from green to lilac. The new collection is located between the themes of 'good' and 'evil' and as you can see in my selection below, I'm more interested in the evil side. The prints on his highly imaginative dresses even remind me of the head of the devil (whatever it 'really' looks like).
Dislike: The Make-up! What the hell is going on with this eyeshadow? The models look like they were entangled in a bar fight the other night.
Music: I'd put a Madrugada record on to seduce in those clothes.

The outfits posted here should be seen as inspiration. I like to encourage everybody to go through their existing wardrobe and look for similar pieces or give old, unwanted pieces a DIY-treatment and create your own version of the looks shown above.
The reason why I chose the designs is that they meet my 'prunkge senses' perfectly. That means the cloths are a combination of early ideas of Grunge and Punk, ideally combined with an old-school Hollywood glamour, which makes you stand out from the crowd. I'm especially looking for quirky, intellegent and avantgardistic ideas. A good laugh here and their is more than welcome, 'cause I really am an advocat for ironic clothing.
